Attend to updating your current SMS
If you already have a well-developed safety management system but need it reviewed or updated to meet ISO 45001 expectations, I can do this for you.
Some companies have already invested a lot in their own current safety management systems and don’t want major changes. Rather, they would like a safety professional to advise them on what and how certain areas within their current SMS need/can be updated to close out an audit finding, meet a new standard specification or enable their SMS to meet general compliance.
My auditing and system writing experience working with companies of different sizes and industries,
leaves me well placed for attending to this task.
Assistance achieving ISO, Tōtika or PreQual external certifications.
Increasingly Government departments, local councils and larger organisations are
wanting subcontractors who plan to tender for future work on their behalf, to have
gone through a recognised external prequalification process.
This saves the Client (or Main Contractor) considerable resources and costs vetting
subcontractors, to see if the subcontractor is good to go and can be granted the work contract.
I stay on your (i.e. the subcontractors’) side of the fence and help you answer those gnarly audit questions that your company may be struggling to make sense of or to answer. Or you may not have the designated personnel resource to attend to the
task and temporarily need external assistance.
The goal is to achieve the desired prequalification you seek well placed to win work tenders.
Broad Brush Risk Assessment
Do you need a top level down evaluation on levels of OH&S risk within your business, to understand how compliant you are with broad regulatory and industry standard expectations and requirements?
I can complete this assessment for you and provide an executive summary report which provides guidance on areas functioning well and what might need your attention, so risk can be mitigated.
Drawn from years of experience completing new client organisation risk evaluations, I have developed an objective 30-point assessment tool, like a business safety warrant of fitness. This can be reassuring for the Directors, who want a big picture overview of what areas within their organisation are working well, and what areas might have blind spots, or are under performing.
