About Me 

I am certified HAS-ANZ Safety Professional with over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing effective safety management systems solutions across manufacturing, civil and construction industries. Although based in Christchurch I service organisations across New Zealand (predominantly working remote).    

                           
To help business success (such as preparation for winning future work tenders), I’m passionate about helping organisations like yours achieve their desired ISO safety and compliance goals. This may mean achieving ISO, Tōtika or other PreQual external certifications. 

 

Between 2004-2014*, I worked for a large ISO certified quality, environment and safety international corporate in New Zealand (1,100 personnel), where I performed general health and safety duties across multiple sites and cities. 

 

This is where I learnt the OH&S trade. *Years rounded for the purpose of this summary.
From 2014 to May 2024, I completed further studies and worked for another 10 years as a Senior OH&S Consultant working across most industries. This included doing client systems work for the Christchurch Te Kaha Stadium build, as well as general service work for construction, civil, utility and manufacturing companies across New Zealand. 
July 2024 – present day I have embarked as a self-employed safety professional trading as Safety IMS.
 

• Government HAS-ANZ registered as a safety professional

• NZISM registered as a safety professional (Prof NZISM)

• GradDipOHS (Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice OHS) 

• ASNZS Lead Auditor Certificate

• Nebosh Diploma (80% completed, a study record maintained)
